Ranking as one of the most desirable muscle cars of all times, the 1970 Dodge Challenge T/A2 held its own against a slew of other pony cars. Compact, highly-stylized, performance-oriented, and affordable, this high-powered beast ticked all the boxes required of a car of its type. While it closely resembled the Barracuda, the Challenger had a roomier interior with a less intrusive wheel-base and a shorter rear deck. The Trans Am (T/A) version was specially engineered to meet the stringent requirements of the Sports Car Club of America.
Interestingly, this car was one of the first production vehicles to utilize tires of different sizes on the same vehicle to improve performance. While it incorporates this fact, this Revell 1/24 scale car kit brings much more to admire than that. In just 78 parts, this plastic kit manages to give in optional custom hood, colorful custom graphics, Centerline wheels, chrome-plated parts, a detailed spoiler and interior, and the choice of a stock or street model.
