The equation was simple: marry the powerful Bentley 4.5 litre engine to a Roots-type Supercharger to create the awesome racing machine known as the Bentley Blower, one of the premier British racing icons of its day. The Bentley Blower 4.5L placed first in the 24 hour endurance race at Le Mans in 1928 using a supercharged engine which produced over 240 horsepower. Fifty-five of these units were built between 1930 and 1931. Very advanced for its time, the Blower earned a fearsome reputation during the Golden Age of European auto racing.

The class and legacy of the 4.5L has been brought back to life in this 1/24 scale plastic car kit by Revell. Capturing the engine and its supercharger in perfect miniature, this model manages to replicate all that made the Blower stylish and unique. The engine hood comes in two separate pieces and sits perfectly above detailed light mountings with included protective covers.
